About this event

Please join us for the 26th Annual Glaucoma Symposium at the Grand Hyatt in San Francisco on Saturday, February 12, 2022 starting at 7:00am!

COVID-19 Information: As part of our commitment to the safety and in following the guidelines set by the city of San Francisco and state of California at Glaucoma 360, all attendees must provide proof of completed vaccination for COVID-19 before checking in and wear a mask, except while eating and drinking. Attendees should review all CDC Guidelines and should not attend if they are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19.

STEP 1: Pre-Arrival Instructions

Glaucoma 360 will be using Health Pass by CLEAR, which provides a secure, digital proof of COVID-related health insights via the free CLEAR mobile app.

Please complete your health screening with Health Pass by CLEAR ahead of time and remember to bring your phone with the Health Pass to the meeting for expedited check-in and entry! We encourage all attendees to complete this process at least 24 hours before the event.

Download and enroll here: https://clear.app.link/healthpass

Enter your mobile phone number, click "Send me the app"

Check your phone text messages, click on the link

At the top of the screen, click on, "Have a Code"

Enter the code: EFATTENDEE402

Tap “Enroll or verify your account in CLEAR” to create your CLEAR member account

New to CLEAR? When prompted, enter your email address, phone number, and have your government issued photo ID ready to complete enrollment

Already a CLEAR member? Use the email address associated with your membership and snap a quick selfie to verify your identity

Continue to follow prompts on the Entry Requirements page to securely confirm your proof of vaccination or negative test results

Need help with Health Pass by Clear, please call 855-CLEAR-ME or tap “Get in Touch” in the app for assistance. Disclaimer: CLEAR will not share your specific data about your vaccination or test results with the event organization. If you have specific Glaucoma 360 questions, not related to Clear, please email cme@glaucomasf.com.

For the most efficient entry possible, every attendee should enroll with CLEAR before the event to complete their COVID-19 pre-screening. Once your vaccination record has been uploaded to the platform, it can take up to 30 minutes for your status to be verified. We encourage all attendees to complete this process at least 24 hours before the event.

Bring Your Mask: All attendees must wear a mask. Masks should fit snugly without gaps and completely cover the mouth and nose, except while eating and drinking.

STEP 2: On Arrival

Enter the Grand Hyatt lobby, make sure your mask is on.

Before going down the first set of escalators, open the CLEAR Health Pass app and tap on the white Your Pass tile. Green means you are good to go!

Go down the escalators and show your phone to event staff. Afterwards, you will complete the regular check-in process.

If you do not have CLEAR, please tell an event staff person and you will be directed to the private space for screening, you must show your vaccination card and proof of identification, which includes a government issued photo identification card or passport.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the registration desk. We will have a limited supply of N95 and surgical masks available for those who lose or forget their own masks.

Plan for Delays

Allow extra time when you first arrive at the hotel to complete the registration process. Vaccine verification may cause delays of at least 10-15 minutes.

Special Note for Saturday’s Symposium Attendees

Attendees will receive a COVID-19 Vaccine sticker following their vaccination check, as proof that they have completed the vaccination verification process. The sticker must be shown to Event Staff during the registration process, in order to obtain their name badge.

After receiving name badge, attendees will have a choice of red, yellow or green stickers to place on their name badge to indicate their comfort level for social interactions.

• Red if you would like more physical distance, preferring to greet others with smiles and waves.

• Yellow if you are comfortable with being in closer proximity, preferring to greet others with elbow bumps.

• Green if you do not want any additional physical distance and are comfortable shaking hands and sharing high fives.

Glaucoma 360 attendees will need to show proof of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine on each day of the conference.

If you have additional questions, please email cme@glaucomasf.com
